Foretold

THE MESSIAH IS COMING

This book is about making Advent real. It’s about doing what Christians have done for centuries to prepare themselves for the birth of Christ: taking Advent seriously. Because yes, Advent is more than candles and wreaths and decorating the house.

In Foretold, we’ll explore, for example, how one passage from Genesis can be considered the first “Gospel,” how to read the Bible through the six covenants God has made with his people, why Advent is more about Christ’s Second coming than about his birth in Bethlehem, and much will be said about Old Testament prophecies such as Micah’s Bethlehem promise and Isaiah’s revelations about the coming Emmanuel, and about why Jesus is the New Moses and the New Hanukkah.
