Most leadership books tell you what to do. Very few tell you who you are or what a person is. That omission is critical. Every leadership model already assumes an answer, and the answer most of them assume is that a person is a set of behaviors to be managed toward an outcome.

Called to Lead offers a different path, charting a timely and much needed reframing of the heart of authentic leadership. It starts by drawing on the Catholic Christian Meta-Model of the Person and the experience of Catholic leaders in schools, hospitals, parishes, dioceses, businesses, and the military. Dr. Ewing shows what changes when a leader takes seriously that the people in his care are made in the image of God.
